Writing Assignment 5 Off page optimization is defined as the technique which helps the website to improve its ranking on the search engine results page. These factors function outside the boundaries of the web pages and these ranking factors are not directly controlled by the publisher. Off-page optimization basically deals in link building for SEO. Off page SEO is a long term and time consuming process. It includes acquiring backlinks to your webpage from the authority sites, social media, and social bookmarking. E commerce retailer eBay

Writing Assignment 4             The e-commerce retailer website I chose for the blog post is www.ebay.com . I am long time user of the site, using it for purchases and for pricing researching mostly. Having never studied the website from an SEO and web analytics perspective, I felt it would be very interesting look at eBay’s use of both, especially with the very intense competition they have from so many other large retail sites and other auction sites similar. Based on the data, Ebay .com is May's leading resale site in the U.S. It received 95 percent of total traffic sent to the top 11 sites at 659.1 million visits. As a peer-to-peer marketplace platform, Poshmark.com is the second runner-up, receiving 2.4 percent of the traffic at 16.4 million visits. With the SEOquake extension on Chrome it also shows SEMrush rank and SEMrush advertiser display ads while Firefox does not.   All are calcula...
There are two choices that a company can utilize for its social media marketing, it can use one main platform for much of its posting/advertising, or it can use many of them and spread its social media participation and advertising across many platforms, using a combination of posts, pictures, and videos to attract interest. This author believes a case can be made for both. A local restaurant can reach many potential customers with likes, posts, and shares on Facebook alone since F acebook studies show 79% of all online adults use it .   This keeps social media management simple for a company with a small number of employees to manage, which is especially needed in a small company because nearly every employee has multiple responsibilities.   A large company with many products and a diverse customer base needs to utilize multiple social media platforms because the different platforms reach different demographics. A few years ago, global use of social...
